INFORMATION FOR VOLUNTEERS TO ENSURE A SUCCESSFUL EVENT

Target areas for the event include the Apollo Cemetery, Drakes Log Cabin, Owens Grove Park, and Apollo Plaza. Volunteers will be outfitted with gloves, safety vests, and garbage bags from the Great American Cleanup Initiative.

Volunteers are asked to:

  • Dress appropriately for the tasks at hand and the weather - unless the weather is stormy the event will take place rain or shine

  • Bring tools CLEARLY MARKED with your name

    • Shovels, rakes, brooms​

    • Cemetery clean-up volunteers who have a chain saw, push mower, or a weed eater are encouraged to bring them along

    • Pick up trucks are a welcome addition to the event for hauling away debris

YOU DON'T HAVE TO VOLUNTEER TO SUPPORT THE EVENT

In order to be eligible for the drawing, volunteers must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age

  • Register as a family unit for the event at AllForGood.Org

    • A family unit consists of at least one adult and at least one child or an organization with at least one adult leader.

  • Sign in with Cris Kostiuk at the Apollo Plaza by 10 AM​

  • Participate for the duration of the event

  • Sign out with Cris Kostiuk at the Apollo Plaza at 2 PM

  • Those individuals who meet the requirements will receive an entry form

  • Drawing will take place after all participants have signed out

  • Winner should be present to win

  • Volunteers who bring trucks to dispense of the debris will receive 2 entries for the drawing
